Description
This image was created as encouragement for the economically displaced. Many New Yorkers didn’t understand the word gentrification until they weren’t from NYC any more. This woman is shot on her grandmother’s street in East New York, Brooklyn in 2019, celebrating 70 years of her grandmother’s continued residence here since migrating from South Carolina.
